Waikiki Real Estate

Waikiki is home to some of the most desirable real estate on the island of O’ahu. With an assortment of homes and luxurious condominiums, this bustling neighborhood contains boutique stores, entertainment, nightlife and dining options. For families, Waikiki is especially appealing as there’s the sprawling beach nearby, the famous Honolulu Zoo, excellent schools and a library within walking distance. The area is often home to family-friendly block parties and parades, and every night, street performers bring Kalakaua Avenue to life. As for outdoor activities, it’s incredibly easy to simply walk out of your condo with a surfboard and jump into the water at any point, or to drive for a few minutes to Diamond Head Crater for a quick hike.

The Watermark

Completed in 2018, the Watermark was developed by the same folks who handled the prestigious Trump Tower Waikiki and Ritz-Carlton Residences. Standing at 38 stories high, this tower is home to 212 units that face the ocean and the boat harbor. While living in Waikiki may not initially sound peaceful and leisurely, The Watermark is located towards the west side of the neighborhood and at the end of a quiet street, so noise is actually at a minimum. You can easily walk to the beach or Ala Moana Center, which is home to a plethora of shopping and dining options. There is a separate parking structure for residents and each stall comes with storage lockers nearby. Residents can also make use of storage for bicycles, surfboards, and even one-man canoes.

A big draw to the Watermark is its amenities, which are meticulously designed to create a resort-like feel. The grand lobby is decorated with Hawaiian artwork and visitors and residents alike can relax in comfortable seating areas, much like a hotel. From the lobby, residents can make their way to a fitness pavilion with a sauna. The path leads throughout the four-acre property where you can find other amenities like an open pavilion, BBQ alcoves, native plants in a lush garden, landscape art, pond, and multiple trellises. There’s also an entertainment room, meeting room and recreation room.

Units themselves have comfortably sized lanais, floor-to-ceiling glass windows with ocean views and kitchen details like African mahogany cabinets, Brazilian granite, Viking stainless steel appliances and travertine floors. Master bathrooms have soaking tubs and a separate shower with a glass wall.

Allure Waikiki

A 35-story tower built on Kalakaua Avenue in 2009, the Allure Waikiki stands on 2.3 acres of immaculate landscaping and hosts 300 units. The tower is conveniently located at the gateway to Waikiki and is near the neighborhood’s salons, restaurants, convenient stores and shopping centers. The one, two and three-bedroom units have gourmet kitchens, Viking appliances, spacious walk-in closets, floor-to-ceiling windows and individual water shut-off valves. Amenities include an open-air grand lanai with 18-foot ceilings, a fitness room and a luxurious recreation terrace with a gorgeous pool and spa.

Loft @ Waikiki

The Loft is an older building in Waikiki built in 2008 and while it’s smaller than the other condos in the neighborhood, it’s known for its unique features. Although it stands only at six floors high and with 36 units, The Loft has things to offer that many other condos skimp out on. First, the residential living spaces have 12, 15 and 19-foot high ceilings – the floors on the 3rd and 5th levels have 12 feet ceilings, the 6th-floor penthouse units have 15-foot ceilings and the center penthouse units have 19-foot ceilings plus an additional mezzanine area. Some units have a large lanai of 400 square feet and have curved walls in the living room to increase space.

Other remarkable details include two 11-foot cathedral windows and luxurious kitchen appliances like Sub-Zero, Bosh and Wolf. Bathrooms include jet-spa tubs. Each unit has a 4 by 8-foot solid core art-deco grand entry door. Amenities include a bbq area, lap pool, whirlpool, recreation deck, parking stalls. Some

Lanikea at Waikiki

Built-in 2005, Lanikea was one of the first luxury condos to be developed in Waikiki after a long period of no activity in the neighborhood. It’s got 96 units on 31 floors and all floor plans are two-bedroom units with a little over 1,000 square feet of interior space. The penthouse units on the top floor are larger, ranging from 1,250 to 1,850 square feet. Each unit comes with balcony space with ocean and mountain views. There are several windows in all units, which allows for great breeze ventilation and an open, airy feel. All units come with central AC and two parking stalls. Amenities include a beautiful large pool with a hot tub, barbecue stations and 24-hour security.
